New Delhi: In an effort to ensure that all MBBS admissions have been made in accordance with the rules and regulations, the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) recently ordered all medical colleges/institutions to submit the details of the students who got admitted in the MBBS course during the academic year 2021–2022.

The online monitoring system created for this purpose was stated by the NMC board in a letter to the country’s medical college deans. NMC instructed the medical colleges in this regard to provide the necessary data via an online system that can be accessible through the Commission’s website www.nmc.org.in .

“Through login ID, all the Medical colleges/ Institutions must submit their students’ admission details latest by 11:59 pm on 5th August, 2022 beyond which the Colleges/ Institutions will not be allowed to enter the details of the Students into “UG Admission Monitoring Module” Students Entry System for academic year 2021-22,” mentioned the NMC letter dated 19.07.2022.

The letter further stated that “In case of any difficulty in accessing NMC website/ data entry, an email may be sent to support.ugmonitoring@nmc.org.in or contact at our toll free no. 1800 11 11 54 (from 09:30 AM to 06:00 PM) and the NMC office shall revert immediately to resolve the query/issue”.

It narrative “This initiative is made with the objective of ensuring faithful adherence to the norms of admission laid down in Regulations as also to further promote transparency and accountability in the medical education “.

Follow the instructions below to navigate the Admission entry page:-

  • Open the commissions website  

https://nmc.org.in/Activitywebclient/login

  • Log in using the credentials NMC emailed you, and change your password if necessary. Keep your login information private.
  • Click Student Admission to New Admission on the homepage.
  • There will be three tabs (UG Admission Entry, PG Broad, PG Broad, and PG Super Specialty Admission Entry) visible. To enter as a student, select “UG Seat”. 

 The following details about the MBBS students are to be entered by the colleges:

Seat Entry

  1. Category of the College (Govt./ Private/ Other)

b. Minority/ Non Minority

c. Name of the Counselling authority through which admission made.

d. Seat Matrix

If Private College (Upload consensual agreement with the Government)

Student Details Entry

  1. Entrance exam (NEET) Roll no.

The following details will be auto-populated after entering NEET Roll No. (which should be verified by the college}

a)Name of Student

b)Merit No./ NEET Rank

c) Gender (Male/Female/ Transgender)

d) Date of Birth (in dd/mm/ yyyy format)

e) Sub Category (ST/SC/OBC/EWS/ Unreserved)

f) Person with Disability (PwD) (Yes/No)

ii. Category (Govt./Mgmt./ NRI/Others)

  1. Date of Admission in dd/mm/ yyyy format

iv. Marks Obtained /Maximum marks in PCB (10+2)

v. Marks Obtained /Maximum marks in English (10+2)

vi. Marks Obtained /Maximum marks in PCB entrance exam (NEET) and percentile

vii. Fees charged from student

Category (Govt./ Private/ Others)

“Kindly add the details of the Students according to the fields as mentioned above which will be available on the screen. No modifications will be allowed after the cutoff date i.e. 11:59 pm on 5 August, 2022,” the letter mentioned.

He further added “The Colleges/Institutions shall take a printout of the admission details entered via the software, have the printout signed and stamped by the Dean/Principal of the Colleges/Institutions, and send the printout to the Commission by the latest date of August 10, 2022, along with the fetter from DME/State Govt. fixing the ratio of Govt. and Management quota. The college should also make sure that the information listed below regarding S. No. (1 to 22) regarding the accepted students is required to be accessible on the college website. The Monitoring Cell may request further supporting papers from the Council at any time, including a caste certificate, a 10+2 grade report, and information about the competitive entrance exam. Students who earned their 10+2 diplomas outside of India must produce an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities attesting that their academic credentials comply with the Indian Curriculum.”
