INI-SS (Institute of National Importance Super Speciality) is the entrance examination for admission to super specialty courses. DM stands for the doctorate of medicine and is a post-doctoral course like DM/M.Ch (3 years), DM (Cardiology), DM (Endocrinology), DM (Nephrology) and DM (Neurology). The courses are available at AIIMS, New Delhi, PGIMER, NIMHANS, JIPMER, and SCTIMST. INI SS January 2022 examinations will be conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi.
The examination date of INI SS 2022 was December 07, 2021, and final exam center details and admit cards will be accessible from November 30, 2021. For getting into the above-mentioned courses, there are two levels that the aspirants must cross. The first level involves the online test with multiple-choice, true-false, matching and completion types of questions. The candidates who secure 50% marks in this will qualify for the next level of exam, which is the clinical or practical assessment for the respective departments. The candidates must score 50% or more marks in the two stages combined to qualify for the admissions.

Stage 2: Applicable to all AIIMS only – Total marks=20
- Candidates should score 50% or more in the first stage.
- Candidates who qualify as per the eligibility criteria for AIIMS will be only allowed to proceed.
- Eligible candidates should apply online for AIIMS seats.
- To qualify for seat allocation, he/she must score 50% or more marks in both the stages combined.
- Candidates getting more than 50 percent (%) marks in Stage 1, but securing less than 50 percent (%) marks in both stages combined do not get you AIIMS seats.
- Qualified candidates will be called for departmental assessment (Stage 2) and those who remain absent will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS seats.
