INICET Exam Pattern

INI CET Eligibility Criteria

For every applicant planning to take the INICET exam for 2024, it’s critical to understand the requirements for eligibility stated by the conducting body for the INI CET 2024. The INICET 2024 eligibility criteria for all examinees include

  • obtaining an MBBS degree from a recognized institution, 
  • completing a 12-month rotatory internship by July 31, 
  • earning at least 55% of their points in the General/OBC/EWS category, and

In case of Indian nationals graduated overseas, INICET eligibility criteria for 2024 exam:

In place of aggregate marks, applicants who completed their MBBS abroad will be evaluated based on their performance on the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). The previously stated MBBS cutoff scores correspond to the INI CET eligibility criteria for 2024.

If foreign nationals, INICET eligibility criteria for 2024 exam:

Candidates must obtain a grading certificate from relevant colleges or institutes to determine percentage significance, and fill in marks column during INI CET final registration. Minimum MBBS and BDS program score is 55% or higher.

INICET requires a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, not from the Ministry of External Affairs (MoHFW), for submission to the Examination Section. Ensure that the NOC for the INICET exam is only received from the Ministry of External Affairs.

  • Step 2: In the home page, click on ‘Academic Courses’ tab to reach the AIIMs courses page.
  • Step 3: In the AIIMs courses page, tap on INI-CET(MD/MS/MCh(6yrs)/DM(6yrs)) for other PG courses and click on INI CET MDS option for the NEET MDS course.
  • Step 4: Upon the completion of Step 3, a pop-up will arise on the screen with updates and notices regarding AIIMs courses and examination, asking the candidate to proceed or close the pop-up.
  • Step 5: As candidate click on ‘Proceed’, a new tab will open with a new page where the candidate need to enter their password, EUC code, AIIMS INI CET registration ID, and captcha code to log in. The INICET admit card for the 2024 exam will appear on the screen.
  • Step 6: Check all the information listed on the INICET admit card 2024. Take two or three printouts from the download for your records.
