The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has begun the online application for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2021. Applicants who are planning for the NEET PG assessment can apply online by visiting the authority site – nbe.edu.in. The last date to submit online applications for NEET PG 2021 is March 15.

NEET PG 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

The NEET PG aspirants should have a legitimate MBBS degree or a temporary declaration perceived by the Medical Counseling Committee and they should finish their internship period at the latest June 30, 2021. The qualified applicant should likewise have a temporary or perpetual medical registration certificate given by MCI or a State Medical Council.

NEET PG 2021: Major Changes This Year

1. NEET PG Exam Pattern:

The NBE has brought a significant change in the exam pattern of NEET PG 2021. The complete number of questions has been reduced to 200 as compared with 300 questions were asked previously in the NEET PG 2020 paper. In this way, the maximin marks that can be acquired in the NEET PG 2021 has additionally been decreased from 1200 to 800. Though, the qualifying criteria remains the same as NEET PG 2020.

2. Syllabus:

 The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subject/ knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt of India.

4. NEET PG Exam Timings:

The NBE has likewise changed the pattern of the exam this year. In any case, the span of the test stays as before i.e., 3 hours 30 minutes. The NEET PG 2021 exam will be led from 2 PM to 5:30 PM. It was between 3:30 PM to 7 PM during NEET PG 2020. Though the entry to the aspirants will start at 12 PM and shut down at 1:30 PM.

5. Increment in NEET PG Application Fee:

The NBE has expanded the assessment charge for NEET PG 2021. The application expense is ₹5015 for general and OBC applicants and ₹3835 for SC, ST, PwD applicants. In 2020, the application charge for general and OBC class was ₹ 3750 and has expanded by 33% this year. Additionally, the assessment expense for SC/ST/PwD class applicants was ₹ 2750 and has expanded by 40%.

6. Expansion in NEET PG Exam Centers:

The centers for examination for the NEET PG 2021 have been expanded from 165 to 255. This has been done to maintain social distancing inside the test corridors and try to avoid crowding considering the COVID-19 pandemic.

7. NEET PG Tie-breaking Criteria:

In case of at least two applicants getting a similar score, the merit position will be resolved utilizing just four standards this year. Prior, there were eight rules for tie-breaking. 8. Real time Photograph:
