On 11th June ‘24, the NEET PG examination was held in two shifts from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM  across 500 test centres in 185 cities nationwide with additional security measures taken by NBEMS and MoHFW (Govt. of India). The purpose of this exam is to fill 40,739 seats for the academic year 2024 including both in government and private medical colleges in India- 26,168 MD, 13,649 MS and 9,22 PG Diploma seats. The exam paper included 200 questions allotting 3 hours and 30 minutes to answer them. Exam Difficulty Level

The general difficulty level was easy to moderate in NEET PG 2023. The majority of the inquiries had a clinical focus. The sections on Medicine, Microbiology, and Gynecology had a higher number of questions. Mostly students reported that the image-based questions in the exam were a little difficult. About 190 questions were in the predicted range, while 10 were out of the box. The student stated that the cutoff might be higher as the paper was simple.

To the students who appeared in the exam, NEET PG 2024 was moderately difficult. The majority of the questions were from unexpected minor topics. 160-170 questions are considered a good attempt by the examinees this time. The question paper produced in the second shift was comparatively more challenging. Both questions and options were complicated and twisted with more image-based questions.
