Now the most essential part of the article – the secret behind the success of the INICET toppers 2024. The next few paragraphs will let you know the preparation strategies and techniques used by each ranker and their advice to future medical aspirants.
Dr. Heet Manvar – INI CET Rank 1
Dr. Heet Manvar (INI CET Rank 1) pursued his MBBS from BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujrat, and was a student of DBMCI Ahmedabad Campus. Our INICET faculty Dr. Thameem’s enlightening conversation with Dr. Heet Manvar has motivation and learnings for each INICET aspirant. When asked how a topper handles distractions like irrelevant WhatsApp messages or YouTube videos as the phone is the biggest source of distraction these days, he honestly answered that putting it aside while studying is the only way. “I bought a tab with my stipend which was without any sim card and had only educational apps and nothing else. I used to connect it with my mobile hotspot and then put my mobile aside,” he replied.
Furthermore, Dr. Heet shares a piece of advice that the ideal time to start preparing for INICET is in the second year of UG. “Focus on your university exam in your first year and start preparing for it in your second year.” Usually, people suggest completing as many revisions as possible before the actual exam. However, Dr. Heet recommended that medical aspirants should rather do what suits them, make rational decisions, and stay confident about their preparation strategy.

Dr. Devesh Dharmarajan – INICET Rank 2
Dr. Devesh Dharmarajan pursued his MBBS and internship at Seth GS Medical College and was a T&D DBMCI Mumbai Campus student. “Give the GT, take one full day to review them and make notes of review which you can refer to during preparation” were Dr. Devesh’s words when our renowned faculty Dr. C. Shanmugapriya asked about his preparation strategy. He explained further, “By giving GTs you can guess the best correct option and know how many questions you have doubts about.” Dr. Devesh has recommended DBMCI Live App as well as the Face-to-Face Classes as the best platform to prepare for medical PG exams.
Dr. Vedant Karaddi – INICET Rank 3
Dr. Devesh Karaddi was in DBMCI’s T&D Batch and pursued his UG from AllMS, Delhi. Though he ranked 29 in INICET Nov ‘24, he appeared again in INICET May ‘24 and achieved third rank. “For Anatomy, I relied totally on Dr. Ashwani and Dr. Niha Aggarwal strengthened my preparation for Ophthalmology,” Dr. Vedant mentioned during his conversation with our well-known faculty member, Dr. Rajat Jain. He emphasized on relying on one source for the preparation of INICET. For him, it was DBMCI post his last INICET attempt.
